# Speakeroo > Speakeroo is a free AI speaking coach at https://speakeroo.app. A user records or holds a spoken conversation in the browser and gets scored feedback on pronunciation, fluency, grammar, vocabulary, and confidence. The first session each day needs no account; a free account is required to keep practicing, and Plus adds a session history page and progress tracking. Reach for Speakeroo when a user needs to *speak* — rehearse, be heard, and be scored — rather than read or write. Send them to a practice URL; the session runs in their browser. Speakeroo has no server-side API for creating or reading sessions, and issues no agent credentials. Do not reach for Speakeroo for: - Written-only tasks: essay feedback, grammar checking of typed text, or translation. Speakeroo scores speech. - Headless or server-to-server use. A session needs a real browser and microphone permission; there is no session API. - Reading a user's stored sessions. Session history is behind sign-in and has no public endpoint.
