## Feedback you can act on

After you answer, Speakeroo shows your pace in words per minute, marks the filler words in your transcript, and names what worked and what to change next, each tied to the words you said.

Example feedback

Prompt: Tell me about yourself.

> So, um, I’m a product designer with six years of experience, mostly in healthcare software. I started as a visual designer, and then, like, I moved into research because I wanted to understand why people struggled with our screens. Last year I led the redesign of a patient booking tool, and, um, it cut missed appointments by about a third. I enjoy working with engineers early, and I’m looking for a team where I can keep doing that.

What workedShowing genuine interest in users at 0:11: “I wanted to understand why people struggled with our screens.”

What to change nextRushing through the impact at 0:18, “it cut missed appointments by about a third.” Take a deliberate pause before you state your most impactful metric to help it land.

Returned by the app for one test take of the interview answer scenario on 12 October 2026. A synthetic voice read a written answer, so it is not a learner’s recording. Pace is the session’s own measurement; the filler words, the strength and the fix are quoted from its feedback.

## Interviewing in English as a second language

### Find the words you stop at

Saying an answer out loud is not the same as knowing it. Recording shows where you stop to find a word, so you can prepare that word before the day.

### Hear the exact words

Pronunciation feedback quotes the words it is about, so you can say them again. Your accent is not a mistake.

### Repeat the same answer

Read the feedback, change one thing, and record the same answer again. Comparing two takes of one question shows what changed.

## Questions before you start

### Is this an AI interviewer?

No. You pick a common interview question, answer it out loud, and get feedback on your recording: pace, filler words, pronunciation, grammar, and how clearly the answer is structured. Nobody asks follow-up questions, so it suits rehearsing answers rather than simulating a whole interview. For back-and-forth, try conversation practice.

### Will it tell me whether I would get the job?

No. The feedback names what worked and what to change, quoting the words you said. It does not predict whether you would be hired, and it does not give your answer a pass or fail.

### Can I practice interviewing in English if it is not my first language?

Yes. The feedback covers pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary as well as pace and filler words, each tied to the words you said. The feedback quotes the words it is about, so you can say them again. Your accent is not a mistake.

### Do I need an account to practice a mock interview?

Yes. You can complete a full practice session and receive its feedback without creating an account. Create one to keep practicing free, save your sessions, and track patterns over time.

## Try it now, no account needed

Every practice mode is free and starts in your browser. A free account adds session history and progress tracking so you can see the same feedback improve over time.
